Policy on privacy and service
Here at Logs Central, respecting and protecting your privacy is one of
our highest priorities. Here is the policy regarding your user privacy
as well as the policy regarding the Logs Central service.
- Logs Central relies exclusively on established external user authentication services, provided by for example Google or GitHub, for user sign up and sign in. There is no local password management at Logs Central. Your email address, verified by external user authentication service, acts as your identifier. Logs Central does not plan to provide any password-based local user authentication service, unless a strong demand for it emerges among users.
- Your verified email address is the only information that Logs Central requests, and will request, from the external user authentication services.
- Your email address is, and will always be, treated with extra care at Logs Central. In Logs Central database, your email address is, and will always be, saved in cryptographically protected form, never in plain text.
- If different user authentication services provide the same email address, then Logs Central will identify only one user, not multiple users, from those authentications.
- Logs Central keeps your email address and all other information that it may gather about your account activities protected. It does not, and will not, share your email address or any other account activity data with other users, authorities, or the public, unless it is required by lawful authorities for lawful reason.
- Logs Central does not monitor the contents of the log data that user analyzes with Logs Central.
- Logs Central makes no express or implied warranties of the validity, the reliability, or the usefulness of the data analysis service that Logs Central provides.
- If you have any questions or comments regarding this policy, please contact us.
